Students with Rainbows in their Eyes

Shhh…

Silence…shh…You hear it? You hear it as well? Yes? No? You say no? Shh… you are not listening well enough… I know you can do it… Try a little bit harder… All you need is a little bit more concentration… Just turn off all the other voices in your head …Then you will be able to hear it as well, I promise…You want me to describe you a little bit what I exactly hear? Maybe it can help you to realize that you hear it as well… Now, I want you to close your eyes, and listen to my story about candy canes, lollipops, and chocolate cakes, alright?

It’s a sunny Sunday morning, and you are sitting on a blue gum bus leaving many chocolate roads behind you. After almost an hour, you finally arrive at the place where you were headed for. When you get off the bus, you see that you are standing right in front of a pink building, which makes you suspect the reliability of your senses. You see that the whole building is made out of pink candy with different shapes, patterns, and taste. While you are approaching towards this magical building, a question crosses your mind. You keep questioning why the building consists of so many different types of candy. You slowly turn to your left and ask a friend of yours, who was travelling with you on the same blue gum bus. She explains that this building has been constructed with the help of so many people. Everyone brought his/her candy and piled them one after the other until they got this building. Getting this information, you throw a better look at the building once again. Now you see that although the building has a general unity under the cover of the colorpink, you start to realize that there are many shades of it due to the diversity of its components. All these shades and shapes make you think that there are as many hopes, expectations, efforts, and gains as the number of candies the building holds. With every different scent you catch, you believe you smell hopes and stories. Unbelievable, right? You approach step by step and finally arrive at the threshold of the building. With one more step you are in it, but right at that moment some little children with big hearts and kaleidoscope minds surround you. You can easily seethe creativity and the need they possess for your help in their eyes. Upon that one look you share together, you know that it is impossible to leave these children. Then you find yourself promising that you will not leave them no matter what happens. You believe me? If not go and ask the people who are crossing this street every Sunday. They say that see rainbows coming out of the windows of the building together with laughter, colors, and joy which fill the air over the pink candy school. Yes, the building I am talking about is a school. And it’s a real school, like everything else I have told you in the story. This means it’s a true story. If you don’t believe this “trash tongue talker”, than go and ask YaseminHoca (YaseminTezgidenCakcak), and she will gladly prove you that the school really exists.

Shh…Now tell me, do you hear what I hear? The ringing of the school bells, which call for you? Or the sound of pink and white striped peppermint candies, which could be your bricks for the enhancement of the school? Well, I am sure you do, otherwise you wouldn’t be on your way to YaseminHoca’s office to learn the truth behind the school consisting of love in wrapping paper and students with rainbows in their eyes… 🙂

Thank You!

With kind regards from Germany
